Jake ordered 2 pairs of cheap walking shoes. Since I ask him to take off shoes before coming inside, dogs have destroyed grass in front, so it is very sandy now and tracked in easily.
By the summer hope to have them trained, wishful thinking?

I'm on Next Door, and every day there are several tales of mis-delivered goods. I don't recall a single instance of someone taking them to the rightful owner (although I've done it.)

Just the other day I was leaving the compound and had to wait in my right-of-way for the UPS guy to finish dropping stuff off at my neighbor's house. I was waiting for a delivery from a company I've bought lots of stuff from, and recognized the boxes. That's the first time in my 15 years here that that has happened. There are only 3 houses down here, and they are all clearly marked. My regular UPS guy knows me. He's had this route for years. We chat when he drops stuff off. This must have been a holiday worker.

To make matters worse, one of the boxes was empty. It should have 48 bottles of 100ml sterile water, and weigh 11 pounds.

I did everything for Christmas on Amazon, which is much better than hitting busy malls.

I bought a tomato juice / skin / seed separating machine ( hand operated ) We both love tomato juice and with an abundance of tomatoes I’m going to make / bottle / preserve TJ …

I like a store which has just opened in SA called kitchen warehouse….I've bought many cooking products from them over the years ….and they price match ..so I paid $72.90 with postage to my home ..not bad compared considering most don’t offer free post unless you spend over $100 …

And item this size would cost $21 to post …..not only that many online companies won’t post to rural areas anymore ( I recently bought a curtain rod /pole and had to get it delivered to a city address …simply cause they don’t post to my area

I don’t usually buy anything now days of any value without checking other prices / reviews
This product is Italian made as apposed to …..China:(:(

I’ve got plenty of chutney other tomato based foods so this time it’s tomato juice

My 2 year old mug warmer took a poop, and was on a Lightening Deal, so I bought a replacement.

I've been so spoiled by this that I could not live without it until the replacement arrives...my coffee kept getting cold. The only thing wrong was a broken plastic plunger on the bottom that pushes in when a mug is place on the thing...that is what turns it on. So I opened it up, soldered a jumper across the plunger switch contacts, and put an inline switch on the cord. It's always on even if there is no mug present until I hit the switch, but the 4 hour auto shut-off still works.

I have it on the end table next to the couch, where I sit & type. I forgot how many times I used to get up and throw my mug in the microwave before I got this. Was on sale for $17. It's $21 right now. The top is completely flat so you can put any size mug (or small bowl) on it.

I'm spoiled. I always have a mug of coffee or a cup of tea next to me. After the warmer broke, I was reminded of how fast they cool off. I'm gonna keep using the one I fixed until it breaks, and keep the one I just bought on sale as a spare.

I love my mug warmer, too ! I have had it for several years now. It still works except for the low setting (130), which only keeps the coffee about Luke-warm. The 170 settings is too hot, but does great if I just need to warm up coffee that I added too much milk or cream to and it needs to get hotter.
The 150 settings is too is perfect, and as long as the two hot settings are working, I won’t have to replace it.
Mine is on the side stand of my desk, because I am usually on the iPad when I am having my morning coffee.

My coffee doesn't last long enough to get cold, I use a spoon till I can stand the heat, I'm on my second cup before Jake is done with his first, Usually 3 cups and I'm thru and fixing breakfast.

The small button that sticks out of the bottom that turns the thing on when you set the mug on it broke on mine. I don't know how it happened...the thing just sits in one place. Everything with the electronics still works fine. I should have tried to fix it before I ordered a replacement...but the lightening deal got the better of me.

Ha ha, Marie! I am the same way too. In the morning, I have 2 cups of coffee practically drank before my husband has his first cup done. He doesn't know how I can drink coffee that hot. I don't think it is that hot. o_O After all, it gets poured into a cold cup that sat in the cabinet all night.:p I like hot coffee---not warm. Just like you, I am then off to fix breakfast after I down my java!

I like the idea of the mug warmer to set my afternood tea or coffee on while I read a book, online shop, or when I am sitting around "busy" doing nothing.:D

Krystal, I do like to drink it while its hot, I sip or spoon till I can drink out of cup.
But as I said, it doesn't last long enough for me to worry about it getting cold.
Jake said I'm same way with ice cream; said he gets a freeze headache if he ate as fast as I.
Maybe from working jobs where I had to eat on the run, factories, waitress, also, all mothers do so too.
