This series was aborted after 1 season. It's a little rocky at the start, but the writing and directing improved later on and the child actors became less wooden with experience. It isn't comedic like the zombie series "Z Nation" but it held my interest as long as it lasted. "Aftermath" (2016) is an apocalyptic SHTF "on the road" series, focused on a family with 3 teens. It isn't all gore and jump scares, but if you're looking for something with a slight "Halloweeny" flavor you can still almost binge it all before Oct 31. Some religious folks might be offended by demonic aspects of some of the hazards the people encounter, but I didn't see it as vapidly sacrilegious. I never saw it making comments about God existing or not, in fact it seldom got anywhere near that sort of thing. However if The book of Revelation is your thing you might get nightmares from some of this show. Quick trailer: Free w/ads on The Roku Channel.
We've been watching The Dead Zone, which I hadn't seen before. Interestingly, a 2003 episode features a mysterious virus threatening to kill a large portion of humanity, for which the cure ended up being chloroquine.
We have started to watch "American Rust". It is kind of slow moving but Jeff Daniels is one of the actors in this show, and we liked him in other shows that he was in----so there's that.
We watched that all the time. We had a friend who was like Hyacinthe. Not that way any more--her daughter and grandkids moved in with her.
Just watched the Last Ep of Yellowstone(brilliant series) Will start watching Squid Games 2 on Monday.
