Rain has pushed out but it's still overcast and dreary; 41°F. We "may" get a light dusting of snow overnight, and the entire state will go bonkers.
Similar to @Krystal Shay here. It is snowing and 27 F. We are warmer than many of you in the lower 48. It was originally predicted to be below 0 F. now, but not so. We got an inch or snow overnight, but it is still snowing.
My daughter in far north Ga. got plenty of snow and her grandkids are really loving it. It looks like rain here now. I just got back from the woods where a small sprinkle hit, not much or for long, we do need rain bad.
I guess you're like me and don't watch the news. When I used to even in my region, they would tell us that your snow was lake-effect. Dunno why.
It's low 40s and breezy right now. If the ground weren't so soggy I'd haul more firewood wood the front porch. I'm gonna wait until Monday. I will dry out a little more by then, and it's supposed to hit the high 40s.
You're right, I don't watch the news. I don't like waiting for the weather report. Looking at the sky, smelling the air, watching trash being blown usually tells me what kind of weather we are having.
