Just in case someone doesn't know what a Bucket List is...to the best of my knowledge it is a list of things you want to do before you pass from this earth. I don't have one of these, but I have been thinking of making one lately. Why? Because as I get older and the world gets crazier I am finding I am adding more things to the unwritten list of things I am afraid of. And I don't like this at all! :( I want to leave this world for my home in heaven knowing I wasn't afraid to live my life and try all the things I was interested in...and did not let fear or anxiety stop me from trying those things.

How about you? Do you have a Bucket List? If so, what is on that list that you have checked off...and haven't?

Umm not really. However, I do have two places I really want to visit, as I believe I may have mentioned in a previous thread. I really want to visit Italy and CHina. Also, if possible, I really want to go into space. I think that would be exciting. Of course, I would love to be a grandmother, but that is really up to me..:p

No I don't have one but I thought about it after I seen the movie. The one place that I used to dream about was going to the Poconos Mountains for my honeymoon. I was only in my early teens and read lots of magazines on weddings and honeymoon trips. It never happened but it was fun dreaming about it back then.

Niagara Falls, Washington D.C., another Bahamas cruise and Venice and/or Paris.

Things I want to do make up my bucket list, particularly learn things. I think that must come from being treated as though I were stupid when I was a child, despite doing pretty well academically. Probably like many people I also dream of the impossible, such as seeing an alien planet, becoming wealthy enough to do much more with my life than I do now ...

@Von Jones , thank you for the welcome, I am enjoying my time here! I do like some of Star Trek as fantasy, but think it is fundamentally flawed. I think if there are aliens they will be millions of years ahead and behind us in development. The problem with much Sci fi is that the aliens are only a few hundred years in advance of humanity and we can deal with or fight them on a more or less level playing field. I think, to steal Orson Scot Card's expression, an alien trying to communicate with us would be known as ' speaker to the animals ' !

Ohh, I am sorry, I meant that being a grandmothher is really NOT up to me. I hope people were able to read between the iines there. My son seems ambivalent about the whole domesticity thing. He does have a girlfriend. and has for several years..but at this point, that is all the farther it goes. Hmmm, well time will tell. They don't live together or anything.

I was watching Flea Market Flip yesterday and thought that I would like to go east to one of the flea markets there in Massachusetts. That would be AWESOME!

Never had a bucket list. Could never afford one. Suppose I settled for small pleasures which were attainable.

I started a bucket list, but realized my income would not support it. And realistically, unexpected things occur and prevent "want to's" from happening. However, having said that, I believe we all have one thing we would like to do or see before exiting this life.

Literally, I don't have one but I have a bucket list in my mind, things that are not impossible to happen. I remember the first in my list was to drive my own car. And I have achieved it 2 years ago. Another is going to Japan and we have a planned trip to Osaka, Japan in March 2017. Maybe I am quite contended in my life so my bucket list contains, as I said, things that can probably happen or can be practically achieved.

Some years from now, I would be retiring from my office job and another in my bucket list is to have a business of my own. Not exactly a boutique for I had experienced that already but something connected to selling so I would not be bored at home. Maybe what I am aiming is a business that I can handle when I have time and can be handled by my assistant when I have no time to spent. And before I forget, I want to visit America and London. For now it's still a dream but not impossible.

I don't have one, well not a written one. But, like you, there are certain things I'd like to do before I "pop my clogs". One of them, would you believe, is to visit Japan. I'm not too bothered about the big cities - my ideal would be to go hiking in the countryside and stay in small hotels or with local families.

I'd love to walk the Appalachian Trial in the US and to walk from Béziers to Biarritz a long the foothills of the Pyrenees here in France, I read a book about a couple who did just that once and it has stuck with me.

I've been a biker for over 40 years and I'd love to plan a long ride with my husband around France, even though I've lived here for a long time, there are so many places left to visit and by motorcycle, for us, is by far the best way.

I want to speak Italian as well as I speak French.

I want to get my novels published and then made into films ......

BTW - my maiden name is Henson .... my father's family are Londoners. The only Henson left that I know is my brother in Manchester UK.

Yeah, I have one, but it is kind of limited. I want to travel to Italy and China. I want to go to the Big Island of Hawaii, and see Volcanoes National Park. I want to be a grandparent..one that I don't really have control of, lol. I also want to go into space. I don't think I will make it to the moon, but expecting to live another 35 to 40 years, yeah I think it is quite possible.
