I don't know if this was related to BLM. Need more info, sounds like police were called to the scene.
Unless the preliminary reports are revised, it looks as if it was a premeditated ambush. Uh... well, all ambushes are premeditated now aren't they?! But yeah, set up specifically to kill cops.
Where the police called or was this person shooting where police already were? Here's a quote from Gary's link. A witness told WBRZ-TV, a man was dressed in black with his face covered was shooting indiscriminately when he walked out between a convenience store and car wash across from Hammond Air Plaza, according to Fox radio affiliate WJBO.
Well, it's going to have the opposite effect for BLM because police now will really have a itchy trigger finger...it's unavoidable.
If it was BLM that's involved, there reputation is going to get even worse. People have been quite upset over the recent blocking of highways by the protesters. Both black and white comments were all anti BLM.
I've heard more and more websites and groups calling BLM a terrorist group now. It's not the way to get respect... it's the way to do violence and think you can get away with it.
I don't think they're looking for respect, and they are surely not looking for a reduction in violence. The real goal is chaos, gun control, a federal police force, and more federal power overall.
I'm seeing that some of the participants, the "man on the street" so to speak, truly do think that they're fighting for respect. Fighting for what they perceive as injustice (and yes, sometimes it is that) and that on that level, they really don't know the agenda of those who are funding the agenda for what *we* know is the reason, but the people they're getting to do their bidding really do think they're trying to fight for the "respect" of having their lives matter. Sometimes.... not always, of course. Just my opinion, but I don't think a lot of the "trouble makers" for lack of a better term, know what's really going on.
I'm sure they do, in part because it's cheaper than paying all of them, and because you can't pay someone enough to do some of the stuff they're doing. The leaders and the funders are using them for another purpose, however.
