For many brands, the box of K Cups that initially held 12 cups, now contain 10. The size of the box has not changed, so you gotta look a little closer

    Sorry, no pictures

Photos not required and I agree, here is a shrewd way to give you less.
They give you the same container which saves them on retooling for another one, but give you less, then put a note on the side like they're doing you a favor.

For years, the pre-packaged food industry has adapted the “more bang for your buck” type of business angle but with raised costs of processing, production and delivery not counting the inability to procure the raw products, many businesses have gone back to the “get your buck’s worth” attitude.
Instead of raising their product’s prices any higher, they’re changing the weight and even the size that the product is made such as the Pringle example in the OP.
There’s a lot of controversy over the recent practice because some say that the companies are cheating and others like myself kind of understand the debacle those companies face.
As long as the claimed weight is honest then there isn’t much anyone can say. I think if I wanted a bag of chips and there was an ounce less for the same price I’d like it more than the old weight with a higher price.

The unfortunate thing is that all products aren’t priced by the pound or ounce such as lumber which is priced by the board foot and no matter how it’s figured a board foot is still a board foot.

That's all true but most of that happened in the past, today most prices are up for Less product.
Here's another example where companies make you think you're getting a special.

25ml more was still less then the regular can before, and the cost has gone up besides.

A pound of coffee now comes in 12oz. bags.
A half gallon of ice cream is only 1.5 quarts.

I can remember when I used to buy a pound of canned coffee and it was a pound. 1 lb made perfect tasting coffee for 100 cup ern I had, I used to pay about $0.99. Today a can of coffee is between 10.2 and around 12 oz for $5 and change.

    Teresa,
    Nice, good idea.
I have to have my coffee at least once a day but I've gotten to the point I buy whatever is on sale. There are few name brands we like, but because of the cost I settled for store brands. We have the Keurig coffee maker so I use the pods, I buy the box of 100 to get a quantity break in price.

Actually 'They' have been shrinking things for last several years. We a re just now paying attention more because the price has increased so much.
With prices going up high , you quickly learn, there are things you can live without. Our Blue Bell ice cream has increased three times(at Walmart) in less than six months. It is now$8.97 for what appears to be a half gallon. Skinless chicken breast use to be $1.77 at Walmart even. Now $2.98 a lb. Crazy.

You're right the price of food increases is crazy. When a product goes on sale that I used I try to stock up. Unfortunately you can't do that with perishables like fruit and vegetable, however I still try to buy the ones that are on sale.

8 O'Clock and chock full of nuts are on the top of my favorite coffee list. My wife likes 8 O'Clock Hazelnut the best. I'm always looking for sales on these.
