We lived in Baton Rouge for a few years in the early '90s. I love Louisiana.

I live semi Rural so it is peaceful. It is strange because I go to Baton Rouge for all my medical and it is so nice at the professional centers, people so friendly and nice. Unfortunately after dark it gets very dangerous. In 1955 I remember the street cars in New Orleans. My older cousin would take me to the Saturday Monster movies down town. Another cousin was married and she lived with her husband living upstairs over his parents little grocery store. It is like a thousand years ago to me.

I was professor at LSU for 22 years. Wife and I liked Louisiana. I made a Jambalaya a few days ago.
