It would be reasonable to think that so much of what we see going on in the world today is the result of indoctrination or of so many of our institutions being taken over by people with an agenda, and I think that's true but it doesn't explain the agenda. When everyone who spoke out against the last presidential election or openly expressed their belief that it was a stolen election is in danger of prosecution as an insurrectionist, this will make it less likely that anyone will dare question the next election. When we come to expect that our elections will be fraudulent, and to accept that there is nothing we can do about it, fewer people will participate in them. When every aspect of government is weaponized against those who dare speak out against the progressive globalist agenda, people will become, like those in China and North Korea, afraid to speak out about matters of government and politics. When people who express opinions on any topic that runs contrary to the progressive globalist narrative are subject to being called racist, sexist, or whateverist, and this can result in their losing their jobs, careers, chance of an education, or even being arrested, we can expect people to be far more careful about what they say, and who they say it to. When people who express opinions that question that of the progressive global narrative are subject to having even their distant past questioned or taken out of context, people will be afraid to call attention to themselves. When scientists are subject to career-ending consequences for publishing legitimate findings that question the narrative of the progressive globalist agenda, they will not do so, and, when scientists who are willing to put the science aside and manufacture evidence supporting the progressive globalist agenda are given opportunities for advancement in their field, plenty of them will do so. When individuals who are not leftists are discouraged or even prevented from entering or advancing in the field of education, the population of teachers and academics who are leftists will increase. When podcasts and podcasters are demonetized or removed from mainstream platforms for expressing thoughts, opinions, and even facts that contradict the progressive globalist agenda, we will see fewer and fewer of these. As individuals who dare even befriend or speak up for someone who has spoken out against the progressive globalist agenda are forced to apologize or be canceled themselves, free thinkers will find themselves abandoned by friends and others. When companies are rewarded for celebrating progressive globalist agendas and destroyed for failing to do so, we can expect to see far more of this, and all of this contributes to the sense that progressive globalist thinking is mainstream and everything else is on the fringe and therefore suspect. Young people are apt to believe that progressive globalist thinking is reasonable and everything else is extreme and potentially dangerous. It's not just happening. There is a reason for the madness.
yeah..and when artificial intelligence is rampant...along with phones that can read brain waves... be like the borg...assimilate or be destroyed
You have not been speaking out enough lately and you cover the ground with this post. I just caught the last part of an interview with Kent Heckenlively and was pleased that he echoed my own conclusions about this spiritual war we are in. Try to find out what God wishes of us, what the right thing to do is, try to do it and then don't worry a bit about winning or losing. It isn't in our hands.
According to Wikipedia less than 10% of conflicts since 600BC could be classed as religious 'wars', my own thought on this is that it rather depends upon the definition of war, if we said 'major conflicts caused by difference in religious beliefs I suspect it would be much higher. As someone who has no time for religion of any kind and little time for many political 'leaders' l suspect I am somewhat biased in this regarding the difference between conflicts caused by difference of religion, political beliefs or ethnic differences that would seem to be very hard to define. Personally I have little time for those who base their beliefs and actions based solely upon these criteria, everyone is entitled to their opinion and should be free to express it within moderation but it seems that extremist is taking over world wide with little tolerance for other points of view. Thus has it been it seems for many centuries, I do hope that mankind comes to its senses before one of these one of these idiots pulls the trigger on 'the big one' and solves the problem permanently once and for all by eliminating all life on this pile of dirt we call earth.
Something to consider: Reliability of Wikipedia The reliability of Wikipedia and its user-generated editing model, particularly its English-language edition, has been questioned and tested. Wikipedia is written and edited by volunteer editors who generate online content with the editorial oversight of other volunteer editors via community-generated policies and guidelines. This editing model is highly concentrated, as 77% of all articles are written by 1% of its editors, a majority of whom have chosen to remain anonymous. The reliability of the project has been tested statistically through comparative review, analysis of the historical patterns, and strengths and weaknesses inherent in its editing process. The online encyclopedia has been criticized for its factual reliability, principally regarding its content, presentation, and editorial processes. Studies and surveys attempting to gauge the reliability of Wikipedia have mixed results.
Less of a slide than a deep dive. I was trying to decide whether i wanted a Hitler style Nazi gubmint or a Stalin style Commie one. Oh wait. They are the same thing. Never mind.
Isn't book-banning a form of conspiracy against free thought? Or by free thought, do you mean original thoughts that no one ever had before.
Or perhaps an idea that has been and made a profit on without the original creator getting paid for it? Lots of those out there....LOL
This was uploaded ten months ago, so it's not new, but the video discusses a range of topics, many of them related to indoctrination and the war against free thought that is going on in this country and throughout the world.
The argument that "They have things so locked down I won't bother to vote" is disturbing. It would seem to accomplish the very goal of "locking things down" against any views and interests in conflict with prevailing trends. So even if you think you have no voice through the ballot box, failing to try just gives up your voice by default. Don't fall victim to this psyop. Far too many already seem to have, and in turn some actually do.
I must be missing something because I didn't see this. But then I don't spend much time letting corporate media wash its message over me. I see a false, nominally two-party system varying only in the smaller stuff meant to attract "the filings" of society not paying attention to the North and South poles of a duopoly. Pepsi or Coke, it's all sugar water. Occasionally we get a voice opposing the corporate cultivation of our culture, economy, and society at large. Sometimes these may succeed for at least a time, while in other cases not enough momentum is developed to have an influence. Perot tried and came away with something like 18.5% of the vote. Trump took another tack by "occupying" a pole of the duopoly and this way achieved some moderate success by turning the two-faced machine against itself. I'm not the only one who saw that many important policy positions Trump acted on were so important that even under Biden these haven't changed. Most of these revolve around trade, trade relations, and other non-military international relations.
The greatest problem we have is fighting the programming so many children have grown up with. They have been so indoctrinated with socialism/communism, they won't even listen to those who used to live under either oppressive regime. They refuse to believe actual fact over the fiction that has been so masterfully woven into their minds. Blame also needs to fall squarely with parents who mistake their own needs as being greater than rearing responsible, clear thinking children. ANTIFA is the offspring of both. I have an acquaintance who lives down south. He is someone who is definitely not stupid, but refuses to accept conservatism/free markets as viable ways to work at ending socities ills; he won't even recognize all Tump did because he relies on such upstanding sources of news as Salon magazine and other free flowing leftist scat. I called him out once when he was ranting about how the government should be the teat o' plenty for all citizens but when I asked how much of his personal money he was willing to give up for the "betterment" of others, his exact quote was, "That's MY money!" He can't get the fact that the government only has as much money, as that it taxes from citizens.
