A new movie has been produced by Turning Point USA and released by The Epoch Times called A Letter to the American Church. It is supposedly a movie drawing comparisons between the American Church as it is now and the Church in Germany as Hitler gained power. I haven't yet seen it as it is behind a paywall. If you subscribe to The Epoch Times, it is free to watch. You can also rent it as a streaming video from their website. I understand it is an hour long and draws comparisons between how the churches in Germany reacted to Hitler's mandates and how our churches react. Many quotes form the warnings of Bonhoeffer (famous guy. I can recommend anything written by him). The person I saw commenting on it said to determine if you attend a "real church" or a "club" He said you can tell from how your church reacted during Covid. If your church was closed while the liquor stores and casinos were open, you are a member of a club, but if the church remained open, you belong to a "real church".

You can search ro it on the Epoch Times website if you are interested.

Many new releases in the last decade have been botched and that's very sad as they could have become great classics.

The writer's strike caused problems then followed by the Pandemic lockdowns and now there's been another kind of industrial strike. Therefore, some titles didn't fully released as they should.

Prime example, whatever happened with the film series (promised 5 but only 3 made) Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them... It'll never be completed and that's disappointing... Although out of the ones released done were less than satisfactory.

However, "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" coming out this March 2024 looks promising from the early trailers....

At least it's something different. There are too many re-makes of oldies. I don't see the point of that. The question is, 'How many people are really interested?' Most folks want light entertainment that doesn't require too much thinking.

The Vatican looked the other way when it came to the Nazis as long as the Nazis left them alone.
