Today's riddle for seniors... Here is the situation: You are on a horse, galloping at a constant speed. On your right side is a sharp drop-off. On your left side is an elephant traveling at the same speed as you. Directly in front of you is a galloping kangaroo and your horse is unable to overtake it. Behind you is a lion running at the same speed as you and the kangaroo. What must you do to get out of this highly dangerous situation? see answer below .............. Get off the merry-go-round and go home; you've had enough excitement for one day!
Ha ha ha - you got me. My laptop screen is very small and I didn't see the answer until after I had tried to find some sort of solution to what I TRUSTED was a genuine mind-teaser. I tried to remember which animals might get tired first and if I could stall the horse so that the lion would swerve over the (what I thought was) the cliff. I even tried to imagine myself jumping across the the elephant .... !
@Julie Stewart , if you are looking for genuine riddles, you can check out the Games & Riddles Section.
Good advice! Best is t never get on a a merry-go-round at all. Sales are usually a best bet to find what you need or just window shop. I love playing games to make money...at least you get money!
I shall surely make my way to that section soon - there's so much to explore and read here that I could easily spend far too long .... I'm going to explore each section but a riddle a day sounds might be a good plan!
