Marzipan..is a sweet paste made from ground almonds.
It contains sugar and, sometimes, egg yolks.
Bakers often add flavors such as vanilla or cinnamon.
It can be molded into shapes or as an icing on large baked treats.

    Anyone? Like..or make?

My daughter who had a small bakery/coffee shop, used it for decorating cakes. As I recall it's like a Play-Doh you can use it to make various cake tops/designs.
I generally will pull it off before I eat a piece of cake with it on I like my cake with just the standard icing.
I'm still dreaming of a cake they served in high school which was dark chocolate cake with dark chocolate outside icing and the filler between layers was marshmallow.yum!!

I make my own pop cycles and they are sugar free [except for fructose of course] but still not as quick to raise my BG as sugar and artificial ingredients.
I ordered pop-cycle kit with sticks and containers from Amazon.

I've never considered marzipan to be much of a North American thing and don't recall ever having it, despite growing up with a British mother and later having friends from South American countries. It's nothing I've encountered in any store, and I used to shop the ethnic markets quite often...or perhaps I just did not notice.

Do you make it, Jayce? Is it a special occasion (holiday) thing in your household?
