They’re square because he was either / or trained to hold his shoulders back or his muscle structure simply keeps them held back. To be sure, he actually exhibits good posture. So far as a suit goes, I do imagine he has them tailor made anyway. I can’t picture him as a JC Penny kind of a guy.
no, if you watched the Godfather you would see his shoulders look like cantaloupes. The flaw in Godfather 1 was the phantom punch Sonny threw at his brother-in-law. It misses by half a foot yet the guy hit the floor. Comical. Google it to see for yourself.
The first time I saw James Caan was in the 70's movie, Brian's Song. I loved that movie so much that I named my oldest son Brian a few years later.
