The only "Afternoon Teas" I have heard of over here is for Children's Birthday parties. I think it would be fun to experience a real afternoon tea at least once. Glad you enjoyed yours @Ann George

It's just 50 miles north of where I live in the rural shires ...I'm 20 miles north of Central London...

 

It's not just hotels here that you can have High/afternoon tea...many restaurants and tea rooms do it as well in most towns and cities ...and some specialise in it alone...
