To honor those Air Force Cadet's that graduated the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs yesterday, the Thunderbirds done a "fly over" on different cities yesterday afternoon. They were also honoring the First Responders and all Medical Help during the virus thing. They flew over Greeley, Ft. Collins, here in Loveland and other are/cities straight south of us, including DIA, and ended their "fly over" in Pueblo. About 1:30 PM, we heard them (F16 Fighting Falcons) do the "fly over", but couldn't see them. They done the "fly over" on the other end of town, but we sure heard them! It was also pretty cloudy where we live. In fact, one of the pilots, a Lt Colonel, is a graduate from a Ft Collins high school. We seen the Blue Angels a number of times, when we lived in Jacksonville, Florida. They sure do a heck of a show!
When I moved to Indian Springs, Nevada to help open up the casino, what I did not know was that the area was and is the workout area for the Thunderbirds. They are indeed a wonderful group and make for a very good show but the repetition of seeing and hearing them as they low leveled above the “town” on a weekly and sometimes daily basis got to be a bit much. But again, they’re a great group and represent the Air Force and the U.S.A. with a great show that takes a lot of skill.
