This is a news story that i just read, it is real. But at least it is an airplane story with a good ending. A plane leaving Seattle had to turn back because of thumping and banging coming from underneath the plane. The pilot quickly turned around and headed back to Seattle, and radioed in for an emergency landing procedure. When they landed, it turned out that one of the ramp agents had crawled up into the cargo hold of the airplane and fallen asleep. When the plane took off, it woke him up and he started banging and pounding on the walls of the cargo hold and screamed for help. I bet that he doesn't fall asleep in there any more ! http://news.yahoo.com/plane-leaves-...rt-worker-stuck-cargo-004356103--finance.html
He was extremely fortunate that the cargo hold he was in was pressurized, and also that his banging on the wall could be heard from the cockpit. This news is being widely reported in British media too, so it's a story that is going around the world!
LOL. Lucky fellow indeed. I agree it's good to have a more light-hearted story about aeroplanes compared to all these depressing ones.
I agree it is good to hear good news about airplanes. I bet he will not be failing asleep in a cargo bed any time soon.
