I saw a story regarding Alvin Bragg, the Soros-sponsored New York DA. A man was attacked in New York with a handgun and shot twice. The wounded man then wrestled the gun away form his attacker and shot his assailant once, supposedly because he was seriously wounded and needed to disable his attacker since he was not physically able to fight him off. The victim has been charged with attempted murder and illegal possession of a firearm for the gun he took from his attacker. I don't know if this is the whole story or not, but it came from a reliable but biased source. If true, it really shows that Bragg's interests are political, not law enforcement.
It's intentional lawlessness from within. We got a few of those "Here's a list of crimes I won't prosecute" Soros idiots in Virginia. I've not heard of any egregious enough to test Governor Youngkin's limits. What the heck has happened all of a sudden with people running of office solely to sabotage? Regarding Bragg...the same talking head who said it was antisemitic to criticize Soros also played the race card when it came to calling out Bragg.
I just came across another example of Bragg's insanity, embedded in a story about this thread's topic: Last July in Manhattan, a video captured a thug brutally stabbing Jose Alba, a Manhattan bodega clerk. Alba, defending himself, proved to be the more effective fighter, leaving the thug dead. It was a textbook case of self-defense, so Alvin Bragg and his team charged Alba with murder and sent him to Rikers Island. Only a public outcry saved Alba from the maw of Bragg’s criminal injustice system.
Bragg is a living, breathing P.O.S. Regarding the shooting in the OP, I read something this A.M. that Bragg has had to back off on that one too because of public outcry. I’m very surprised he even listens to the peons, must have been someone from his own side, higher up, that couldn’t stomach his radicalism.
I believe the reality behind that retraction is the concern that such a perversion of the law would tarnish his [purported] credibility in the Trump debacle, so he had to get it out of the public spotlight.
