Good afternoon to all- Being as I am a resident of the Great State of Alabama, I would like make my profoundest apologies to the rest of the nation for the vile, sorry, ignorant, piece of garbage, Tommy Tuberville, who is polluting the air as our state's senior senator. This nasty man was a terrible football coach, very unreliable as a person in his personal dealings with others, and was elected to high office only because he had a big "R" after his name and because he campaigned as "coach"- and that's enough for the voters of Alabama to vote for anyone. This bad man is not even a resident of Alabama. This bad man has held up normal promotion operations in the military simply to score points with his conservative "base" on the totally unrelated question of abortion rights in the military. Alabama has a lot to answer for in its history as far as politicians go, but I'm not sure that Tommy Tuberville is not the worst individual we have sent to Washington. Please accept my apologies, and rest assured, I will do everything in my power to see that Tommy T. gets to go back home to his non-Alabama residence after the next election. You all be safe and keep well- Ed
He is a great senator, and as you might have guessed, he is also a great supporter of President Trump. He has worked diligently to bring the Space Force headquarters here to Huntsville, and the way they are expanding here at the arsenal, it looks like that is still possible to be happening. He is also in favor of not having any of the ridiculous mask mandates or vaccines , which alone would make him a good guy in my opinion. Except for the Biden-believers like Marsh here, Tommy Tuberville is a well-loved senator in this state. He is doing good things for Alabama, and I hope we keep him around for a long time yet.
I’d be happy to trade either one of my lame senators for Tuberville. Maybe I can just think of him as my real senator and feel better about it all. No need for an apology, Ed. I have a whole new outlook on the senator situation now. You have a good evening.
Good morning to all-- In response to Yvonne Smith's statement that I am a "Biden Believer" let me assure you all that I am not and never have been a Biden supporter. I always felt the Democrats could have done better. Joe Biden is a long way from what I would like to see in high office. However, the one mitigating factor which makes Biden acceptable is that he is so much better in every possible way than the detestable individual he defeated in the last election. Tommy Tuberville may be "beloved" in some circles, but that does not change the fact that he is an ignorant, self-centered, untrustworthy man. you all be safe and keep well- Ed
And I thought you were going to apologize for the times you only came on board here just to write how much you hate Trump. I mean, don’t ya think 20+ times writing the same old crap is a tad redundant? Ya see Ed, ya just have to read the fine print and start doing the research before reporting half truths. Now, for one thing, the Senate has a Democrat majority so it isn’t just a few Republicans who are behind the x-coach. Officers in the military aren’t being denied promotions but for whatever reason, they can’t put on the insignia that comes with the promotions. They get the pay raises, the position and everything that goes with the new rank but the insignia will be on hold until the pentagon stops making the taxpayer pay for travel expenses and abortions for military women. And….the Senate can still promote high ranking officers but just not in the batches that they were. Note: Tuberville made a further statement on Wednesday (again) that the Pentagon should either go with the law or change it, simple as that. Oh and, terrible coach? I haven’t met an Auburn fan that has any ought against Tuberville and if he was so bad, why did Auburn keep him for so many years? I mean, he did take the SEC title and took the SEC west title some 4 or 5 times. Yvonne was completely right when she basically wrote that you can’t stand anyone who backs Trump. You’ll bypass information just to further your own emotionally based hatred. Me thinks you might need to sign up for some therapy because that kind of hatred can cause all kinds of medical problems and a good psych won’t care how many times you say the same things just as long as you pay for the visit.
Good afternoon to all- Ah, Bobby, you are such a predictable person. And when I take YOUR advice for therapy, then I will truly be in need of therapy help. I call things the way I see them, and I do believe I see them in a logical and intelligent way. And yes, I will oppose tRump and those who support him in every way I can as long as I can. And T. Tuberville was a bad coach, and he was a coach who jumped from position to position- either for being fired or for money- and left his players and the schools in the dump. He has no honesty and no loyalty to anyone except himself, and he is an ignorant man. Sounds like someone who was elected and then defeated from high office, now doesn't it? you all be safe and keep well- Ed
Another half truth amigo? And further, a Pot calling the kettle black on a couple of levels perhaps? So let’s talk about predictability. The only thing you can seem to muster up on this forum is a bunch of hatred. Bring something of fact and some positivity to the table for a change instead of spewing a bunch of rhetoric and hatred combined with opinionated half truths and maybe you will find some inner peace to enjoy. Now, let’s compare your career as a literature teacher and that of Tuberville as a coach. Hmmm…..I do imagine there is a vast difference in the amount of money you generated for your college and that of Tuberville is there not? Plus, I doubt seriously if there’s a heckova lot of call for literature majors in the career market whereas Tuberville was coaching young people in the art of success in whatever field of endeavor they went on to. And another question: Have you never switched schools or jobs for a better opportunity? C’mon…..bet ya have!! That kettle ain’t as black as you thought,…was it?
Good afternoon to all- Bobby, I appreciate your concern for my "inner peace." Let me assure you, I am very content with my life as it is, and I am at peace both inward and outward- at least with most people. And your referencing the money that Tommy T. generated for the colleges- I will admit, he TOOK lots of money, and he abandoned programs which paid him lots of money. He was a bad coach, and he is a bad man. And while I am not an angry person, I do admit to feeling nothing but disgust for politicians like tRump, Tommy T., Matt Gaetz and those of that low and nasty level. The only way I can understand how that sort of person gets elected in our society is by remembering P.T. Barnum's line, "There's a fool born every minute." And that's the kind of people who can support such creatures as tRump and his minions. you all be safe and keep well- Ed
Leave me alone Ed. I’m mulching with my new mulcher. But, by the bye…...Tuberville led Auburn to beat Alabama (my team when they’re not playing LSU) how many times? 6 or 7 in a row? And….so far as whom you like and don’t like….thanks! I’ll be like a liberal and forget doing any real investigative research and vote for whomever you don’t like. Bye…..
