I remember watching Andy's gang with Andy Devine every Saturday. His friends were midnight the cat, squeaky the mouse, and the devilish froggy. The show name changed to the Andy Devine show, I might have that in reverse I'm not sure. Here's one episode.
I don't recall seeing it, but just read that June Foray did some of the character voices. She was the voice of Rocky the Flying Squirrel.
"Andy's Gang was a children's television program broadcast on NBC from August 20, 1955, to December 31, 1960, hosted by the actor Andy Devine. It was the successor to the radio and television program Smilin' Ed McConnell and His Buster Brown Gang (later shortened to Smilin' Ed's Gang). Devine took over the television program when McConnell died suddenly of a heart attack in 1954. Devine inherited a number of characters from the earlier show and the sponsor, Buster Brown shoes". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy's_Gang
September 18, 2021 "The Andy Devine Days Festival is hosted every September in Kingman, AZ the Heart of Historic Route 66. It includes a car show, live entertainment, and many activities for the whole family. It is followed by several mini-events over the next week and the Andy Devine Days Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo the following weekend". I remember Andy, as Jingles, Wild Bill Hickok's sidekick.
I liked Andy Devine as Esther Blodgett's friend Danny, in A Star is Born (1937). He didn't act silly. Just a really nice person.
