Annuities

Anyone here familar with them ? Well informed about them ?

Here's my question: I have one I am about to surrender , and it yields a nice profit. What is the best thing to do with it ? Net & gross ? I would like to avoid a tax killing if i can .....

 

I think you could roll it into an IRA. I avoid annuities, as they lock up you money.

 

I have one more ...... a non-fixed. I have held this one for seven years but ..... it has yielded a decent profit , so I have no complaints. But I do undeerstand yours .
