No our friends her either moved away or passed away. We stayed to ourselves working on things,gardens,greenhouse, hydroponic, hügelkultur clearing trails, caring for chicken's ducks dogs,cats and wildlife. A lot of younger people moved in last several years and even more leaving the city's for country life. Most are friendly always wave when they see us. A couple even stopped and ask me if I needed help working on the fence clearing. I graciously thanked them and said no thank you., My daughters want us to come back home but hubby said he will stay here long as he can.
Yes we grew up in Atlanta and Stone Mountain. Part time in the city part time in the country. Momm always had an apt in Atlanta area, granddaddy always left two open one for us and one for my aunt. I had a great childhood. My son lives in Houston Tx where [ but he is seldom at home ,always traveling around the world with his job] his 4 kids and 10 grandkids are and their mother's family, both daughters live in North Ga,.
