They seem to be mostly focused on the mid-Atlantic but just wondering if anyone has tried them. They have a facility nearby and will apparently deliver to our soon-to-be new location in Gettysburg, PA so we thought we might give them a try once we settle in. https://www.heartlandfoods.com
I've not heard of them. I'm in between 2 of their Virginia markets (Charlottesville and Richmond.) I just did a search on Next Door and nothing came up regarding them being an advertiser or being a topic of conversation.
Never heard of them. I see they have "exotics," so you can post in the "Ever Eaten Squirrel" thread after you try the goat cubes, crocodile and wild boar.
They don't seem to list their prices. The farm across the street from me is charging $7/pound for turkeys this year. I wonder how their costs compare.
I guess we’ll find out in a few months. We have to get moved, buy a freezer for the garage and then we’ll see how we like it. Wife wants to give it a try.
