The Frances Dorrance Chapter of the Archaeology Society held their annual open house last week. They have been at it for over 20 years and have collected many artifacts. The site is on railroad company land and is posted, so it is protected from possible vandalism. They have dug down to the 2000 year level they say, below which there is no sign of human occupation.
