I will have to review my texts to see how I text. All my texts are mainly family. With the younger ones I use emojis more just for fun. Also, unless I'm at home texting....messages are hurried if I'm out and about because I'm on the go. When I arrive home from my drive from my daughter's, I simply text her. I made it. Am I monster?
I don't do text messages, but I see no evil in a full stop. Exclamation marks, on the other hand, are getting out of control. It's high time they were subject to rationing. Don't even get me started on the 'Australian inflection' whereby every sentence is made to sound like a question.
I always end sentences in a full stop when texting, but I also use full sentences with appropriate punctuation. I can't bring myself to use anything else, so I don't text often.
LOL science has found texting! Well I don't have any cell phone of any kind, but the article was fun to read. Thanks! The communication of the world is bigger than anyone ever imagined. I think its fine and dandy that people are social. It's fun communicating anyway we can.
