    From CBS News:

t least 18 billionaires — and hundreds of other ultra-wealthy individuals — received federal stimulus checks even though the payments were aimed at helping poor and middle-income households weather the pandemic's economic crisis, according to a new report from ProPublica.

About 270 wealthy people received payments in the first round of stimulus checks directed by lawmakers in 2020, despite having a total of $5.7 billion in income, according to the the report, which cited a trove of IRS data on thousands of the nation's wealthiest individuals ProPublica said it had obtained.

Your government hard at work giving away your money to people who either don't need it or shouldn't have it in the first place, never mind trying to keep SS solvent for seniors who depend on it.

The government seems bent on destroying the dollar. They have always thrown money at things (including the legislators)
Around here you can throw a rock and hit a job. But when my renter supposedly got covid, her employer told her to stay home. With time for testing and quarantine, her employer gave her job to someone else. Renter came to me and told me she lost her job and I gave her a list of cheaper rentals and jobs she could get and she was shocked that I would require her to leave because she got sick. I said I wasn't; but I was requiring her to leave if she could no longer pay her rent.
Wellllllll, Did she get another job? Nope. She got the government to send me a check till the end of her lease when all she might have actually needed was a month's assistance. Now she sits out smoking in her car (no smoking in the house allowed) not bothering to get another job while her hubby works 14 hour days.
Handouts are everywhere if you know where to look. Till they are not.
