Wonder why this trial is not being spoken of and ignored by all news sites excep0t local till now. I feel it is another terrible killing but no less than most killings. Just seeing it is sad. We have all the old famous hustlers plus Black Panthers yet no news.
I watched some of the trial on Court TV. It's complex since you have three defendants but only one shooter, so how do you distribute guilt? Analysts talked about the self defense argument but there's a lot of ifs, ands and buts.
It is a little hard to follow but they are all tried together yet seperately if that makes sense. We could watch since we didn't watch anything else since no good movies at the time. I guess it would be confusing if you didn't keep up. I'm sure we've heard lots about the trial from racist out for blood so thought I'd put this short discussion on the so called trial now in juror's hands. Retired cop officer Tarum on trial, I'm still not convinced either way yet. But also don't like to see what these professional race hustlers have done to this nation because they CAN. I haven't followed this one closely, although I watched a piece on it before the trial started. My impression is that they did not chase this guy down and shoot him because they hated black people, but I wonder if they would have considered him to be suspicious if he were white.
We watched every minute of the trial and most of Rittenhouse too. We were in-between movies to watch so decided to watch the trials. The comments about the trial were not based on anything but hear say and bias's. Amazing how people will relate. Ever wonder why not one major media even spoke on it including so called right wing. I really do think they would have acted the same way if things were being stolen and a the white man was obcessed with the empty house like Arbery seemed to be where $2500 worth of sonar was stolen from the boat in backyard of the house Arbery visited night and day over and over.Why was the house under construct\ion so interesting to him and why at least twice at night? It was burgury trespassing just being on the private property. Citizens arrest was legal when this happened but the court rushed during trial to make it no longer legal. There is so much more to it than anyone could possibly realize without watching the whole trial. Too much evidence was not allowed by these so called Judge and DA. Why keep them in jail for 18 months no bond? Sometimes if nothing is going on watch this trial. No sense in all the charges especially for the man who never used a gun during this. Its done now and nothing will change it so just commenting on the comparisons of this killer and the one who killed Arbery,.
Cameras were active in the house that was under construction, and they showed the guy looking around, but taking nothing, and a whole host of white people stopped to see what progress has been made on the house, some of them returning periodically, but they weren't chased down. I'm not saying the guys were guilty of murdering him and am fairly confident that wasn't their intent. I didn't watch the trial, so I don't have an opinion on that. When a cop shoots someone down because they mistake a cell phone for a gun, they are invariably let off, but armed citizens are always held to a much higher standard than the police.
It is xo much more to it than what news bits you saw. To begin with the cameras were not installed till things were being taken like the $2500 worth of things from the boat. And the white people didn';t keep coming back night and day. Like I said there is so much more than you know about this case. I can put up the PBS and 11 Alive local station that broadcasted the whole trial. But if your not going to watch it no sense in me going to the trouble, of looking it up again. Honestly Ken I hate it all the way around and think it is absolutely horrible for all 4 involved and their families. I could only watch the shooting once then turned my head when it came back up.
I'm not going to argue with you about it but it seemed pretty clear to me that he wasn't carrying an armful of stolen goods.
We aren't arguing imo,we are having a civil debate about a contraversal killing. Except I just know more about it than you do. We watched about at least 12 hours of the fiasco. But its not important to us really just those involved who lives are all over or destined to live in torment for years to come.
I'm sure both of those Woke Networks will just be more bias against the mean ol racist crackers who just went looking for a poor innocent black man to kill . Justice is always a good thing but political 'justice' is always bias.
I find the result pleasant you know. I am relieved though. There are many other crappy results however I am big on this verdict though. I am somewhat impressed. My husband posted a article about it on his Facebook account. I find it pleasant.
