Being isolated in my apartment and not being able to go to the Excercise Room or take a walk in the Courtyard I must get up out of my recliner often and walk round and round in my apartment as well as doing exercises while sitting. I get so sore and stiff from long periods of sitting. Even in my most comfortable recliner. Our quarantine will not be over until the 13th.

I am glad that you have found a way to do your exercises even when you are confined to your apartment, @Lon Tanner . Walking back and forth in the house is something that I do, too. Some days it is pouring rain, freezing cold, or too hot and humid to be outside; so on those days, I walk back and forth from the kitchen down the hall to the bedroom and back again. It might be boring, but I have found that I prefer doing that than walking on the treadmill, even if I am just walking back and forth in the house.

I use my treadmill, but not daily, and I use it at a slow speed and in the maximum incline setting, to simulate walking up a hill. To me, this is safer than going at a higher speed on flat ground.

I sit a lot so when I can I do body weight exercises I think it used to be called calisthenics, or just watch and follow along with old Jack LaLanne videos on youtube then watch Highway Patrol, it hurts or makes me sore but if you want to stay mobile you have to stimulate and stretch muscles.
