I really thought about it; I really did, then I remembered that I had to cut my toenails and everyone knows that when that kind of operation starts it can’t be interrupted by nonsense.

I have ben reading a lot about upcoming shortages. Oil is a big one, as not only has Biden shut down, or restricted domestic production and we are no longer self sufficient in production, but he has lost control of the Middle East. Where Trump had peace treaties everywhere (which were not covered at all by the MSM) and even at one point had a fly-over of the Persian Gulf escorted by UAE, Saudi, and Israeli fighters. Now Israel and Iran are shooting at each others' ships, and Iran staged a "practice attack" on two U.S. Coast Guard cutters in international waters reminiscent of the attack on a Navy ship in 2014 under Obama when the ship was not allowed to defend itself, was boarded and the sailors were bound and forced to kneel for the cameras for a humiliating experience for the U.S. The cutters were not boarded this time.
A second major upcoming shortage--not Biden's fault--is generic and OTC drugs. According to one source, ~80% or more of generic drugs are produced in India from rare materials sourced in China. The drug manufacturing facilities in India are shutting down due to the major upswing in serious Covid cases. It will take a few months for this to work its way through the pipeline, but according to the source, the drug shortage will hit the U.S. around mid-summer. Even ibuprofen and acetaminophen may be affected. He advised that anyone who routinely takes ANY generic medication should stock up if they can before the end of June. He implied, but did not state, that many name-brand meds are manufactured in the U.S. and Europe.
You can also expect food shortages for a number of reasons--some due to Biden and some not--beginning in the autumn and worsening as time goes by. Of course any time oil prices go up, food prices also rise and will be compounded by the Biden plan to remove land from production and threatened higher taxes.

There is a positive thing about all the expected shortages and higher prices. This next election period is going to be a doozy.......
Biden made decisions based on of course, what he was told to do but also on emotion. He decided to load up his cabinet with a more diverse grouping so he put in place the most absurd bunch of people who, for the most part, know nothing about their jobs or are so deep into the socialistic cancel culture racist agenda that whatever they do will be for an extremely small percentage of the U.S.

Yes, the House and the Senate are in for a huge awakening I think.

Unfortunately, we no longer have real elections so it doesn't much matter what people think about elected officials. When we permit elections to be rigged, our votes don't matter.

I understand the sentiment and I too feel some anxiety and do not want to be subject to the futility in Einstein’s warning concerning doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Moreover, I’m sure that 75 million Americans feel a reluctance to even bother voting and I had to have a long talk with myself about that very thing.

I had to remind myself of how many times I have seen evil backfire upon itself and be beaten even though at first, it looked as though it won.
Throughout the nation eyes are being opened. The evil that men do is being shown for what it is and more people are seeing first hand how divisive and illegitimate it is so I seriously believe that there is definite hope.

The bottom line is that yes, I’m going to keep voting no matter the outcome. It may not seem to matter to some but in the end, my vote means something to me. It means I am in the battle and didn’t simply watch from the sidelines because I’m afraid to lose.

The rich already pay about 40% of all taxes. What is their fair share?

Employers often do fall into higher brackets and when their taxes are hiked they lower their expenditures by not hiring. They also raise product prices which you will have to pay.
You’ll notice when Trump lowered their taxes and did away with a lot of government regulations that unemployment dropped like a lead balloon.

That said, part of Biden’s plan now is to allow people to quit their jobs and still get paid 75% of their previous earnings. So that means there’s a balancing act going on. With higher taxes for the rich, they won’t be hiring the people who want to work. Then again, the already employed will be quitting so they can draw their 75% unemployment for however long they can which has to be paid by someone so Biden is overtaxing the rich, who are fighting to keep people working.

But then again, who says that the people who want to work will continue to do so if they can make almost as much or more than they were making?
But at the end, who is going to pay? You. You’ll pay it at the gas pump, the grocery store and everywhere you have to buy that rich guy’s product.
And......Watch how much of a Social Security raise you get this coming year. Probably like when Obama was in office....nada.

I think it's admirable there are so many worried about rich folks paying taxes. There aren't enough of them to be able to stand up for themselves. :D

There are a few things about the higher taxes:

    • It is gonna hit middle class because Biden wants to change how inherited assets (like houses) are valued and then taxed.
    • Class Warfare is unAmerican. I'm not in favor of anyone getting screwed just because I happen to not be a member of that class. And all this does is further the perverted notion that success is evil, and that it always comes at the expense of others.
    • There is plenty of cash in the system if so much of it were not being wasted. Accountability never exists.
    • Much of what our money is used for is unconstitutional. The Fed is not should not be an Entitlements Machine.
