Totally right, why shouldn't we be willing to help pay for something really important to us. Not that science and exploration has no importance but priority-wise.
I hope and pray a lot of those regulations can be at least trimmed down for our farmers and ranchers. Seems like the typical shopper doesn't pay much attention to "where" something is made, or produced, or, all the steps it took just to get it to us
Produce wise I think California can produce a lot of it and does but for things like bananas and such.
In relation to being "knocked off", the Mexican president was pretty much financed by a couple of the cartels when he first ran. That, in addition to a 14% favorability rating has him on the ropes. Whether by vote or lead poisoning I do not believe he will be president for another term.
I got the feeling he is really between a rock and a hard spot. Maybe he better try to seek sanctuary over here before they put a wall up.
@Ina I. Wonder, I think that's a fake news meme. I have seen several memes and articles about Mexico's southern border wall, but I don't think they have one. Mexico does have far stronger emigration policies than we have, however.
Oh but wait, the Mexican President just stated they don't believe in walls, LOL!! That figures, thanks Ina!
Guatamalans are often among the folks caught sneaking into the States from Mexico into Arizona. If the Guatamalan wall exists, it's not too effective. Frank
