Seems like every time I'm introduced to a young ladies boyfriend or husband, the guy looks like a bodyguard for her. Guess some young men spend hours upon hours in a fitness center and their ladies absolutely love the look. There are construction workers who get, and stay, extremely fit, from working in construction. Thing about is, years ago, "looks" wasn't nearly as important as it is today.
I don't know Cody, I think to some fitness has always been important to a certain mentality. Maybe more of that mentality to day. On the other hand you could be right, maybe that look the young ladies go for today. Regardless, the couple in your avatar is a good looking couple. I would assume that is you and your beloved or a good facsimile of you and yours. Congratulations.
That's us last July 2018. Neither of us have been into fitness, except for range shooting and power boating. I've been told that many fitness centers today, are more for "hooking up" than real fitness training. And, I also believe that many women love the looks of multiple tattoos on a guy. That's sure what it appears like here. As for me, I think more of the "macho" look, that anything else. "You mess with my lady, you dead meat." I think would be thought and the ladies love that attitude.
Every time I see a dude full of muscles, I automatically think of...…...bodyguard! Heck, I don't think NFL players had the muscles "way back when", compared to some of todays' players. I would think that a lady would want a man to act like a boyfriend or husband, much more than "he can kick the crap out of someone, if he needs to" type thinking.
But still, physical security of the family is part of a male's role in a relationship, not implying that females can't take care of themselves if need be.
True, but that doesn't mean the man must look like a young Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone, right? I mean, there are certain jobs, like a male accountant or male purchasing manager, that wouldn't have muscles piled up on his arms/legs.
Actually, I remember back around 1982, I dated a lady who divorced her husband because he wouldn't allow her to touch any part of his body. She told me, "he told me that he worked very hard to have the kind of body he wanted. If I'd go to give him a nice hug, he wouldn't allow it. So, I divorced his butt!"
