When I was in grade school they offered students a chance to participate for the school band in music class. All you had to do was choose an instrument that you wanted to learn with and the music teacher would turn you into a star. So I got my Mom to bring me downtown to the big popular music store in the city after I decided I was going to play the drums like Ringo. They sold us an expensive pair of drum sticks and a drum pad to practice on. Well so much for that.. within two weeks the teacher/music entrepreneur couldn't stand my seemingly futile attempts at any kind of rhythm and destroyed my sticks in front of the whole music class.
That stinks. I swear, some people work with kids so they can finally be the biggest &@#$# in the room. I played trumpet (probably worse that you played those pads.) I recall the practice pads that some of the kids had. I'm glad I did not have your music instructor...I'd have been switched to the kazoo.
