Times are changing very fast the world was many different countries and now it is being put into groups not for the benefit of the people but for the multinationals elites. We now have people outside the government making the laws for the people. Europe is an example where a bunch of countries gave up their borders and the laws were set by Brussels. Now Canada the U.S. and Mexico are talking about the North America union.
There is no country without borders
There is no country without laws
There is no country without following the law.

I doubt it will happen, and I haven't heard anything about Canada and the US and Mexico talking about a union especially recently. There was a rumor going around that it would happen in 2010 but it's 2016 now.

Seems like countries are leaving the EU at least with the recent Brexit vote.

I can't imagine The Canadians wanting it either, or the US...I have no clue about Mexico. There's always talk about something. I've heard Talk about California becoming anywhere from 3 to 6 states. It hasn't happened and doubt it will.

Can you show me the link where they are talking about this right now, Martin?

Yes, they met and talked about problems....I don't see the jump from that to what you're saying.

I don't see anything much in my lifetime. I remember how long it took for some countries to use euros in Europe. When I lived in Hungary way back when they were talking about it.

Who knows though in the future what are grandchildren and their children want. They may want a different world. The younger generations are more tolerant.

When I was young, I was wondering why there are countries. Another question was why Filipinos have a hard time entering some countries like the US and Europe. What if there will be no boundaries? Our college professor on economy said that countries have their own economy and if they would open the gates then immigrants would tilt the balance of the economy and the country may suffer.

With the union of countries like the UE, I guess the rich countries have been put to a disadvantage and poor countries are to an advantage. That's the primary reason for BREXIT, according to a friend in London, that Great Britain wants to have their economy for themselves, no more sharing with other countries.

Speaking as a Canadian, I can't see Canada being willing to give up it's sovereignty. We are on excellent terms with our American neighbours, but remain a distinct society with our own political system, and cultural/language differences. We are also hugely patriotic, although it is considered bad taste to go on about it. Lol.

As a Canadian I did not remember a vote from the people for the free trade deal it just happened.
I watched all the factories close and even the factory which I retired from which had one of the highest quality product is now gone.
These deals happen in back rooms and you hear about them after they are signed.

Wether deals happen in back rooms or not, I can't see this happening. I can't even imagine the logistics of it.

How would the North American Union work when technically Canada has the Queen of England as their monarch?

The whole thing would be nothing but a nightmare for everybody. All it would be is problem after problem.

In Europe, they might have the EU but each country is separate. You still have to go through controls when you cross borders. There are borders and each country has their own laws, etc. most even kept their own money.
The euro is just an option in some countries. You can use the euro or say the pound...both are accepted.

You just make a broad statement, Martin but don't provide any facts to show how this will all happen and work.

If any of this happens, it will be years away. It would take lots of talking, protesting, negotiating, voting, and planning for it to come to pass. I don't think America or Canada would ever go for it.
