    Do you remember when calculators cost more than $100, and it was really something if your parents bought you a calculator? Now, you can find them on Amazon for $3 to $4, and most of them are under $10.

    Yes, I recall when my brother got a Texas Instruments calculator when he was in high school. He thought he was walkin' in high cotton. :D By the time I got to high school, the Slide Rule Club had been disbanded.

    And I suppose the fact that most computers come with a calculator now, there isn't much market for actual calculators.

    I got it for my job because I had to do Net Present Value calcs on leases. Gotta love a stack register in something so small...it fits in your shirt pocket.

    I still have it, along with the thick spiral bound instruction book.

    Mine is on my cell phone and iPad, just like most of the rest of us; so I wonder if anyone even buys those cheap calculators any more ? I would think that the only ones that sell very well would be ones that do specific things, like real estate calculators. They probably even have apps for all that now, too ?
