I Canadian preach kick out police out of a church service. They lay and wait for him on the road and arrest him and one other person. 6-7 police cars to arrest an un armed preacher. What has Canada become? This is a sad time for Canada the country who thought they were free. Here is a video

Just curious: are 'communism' and 'dictatorship' synonyms?

    No.
A benevolent dictatorship is historically thought to be the best known type of government (besides a theocracy), with good results and effects and helpful to the people.
I don't think most people think of communism that way.

"Benevolent Dictatorship?" Example? I should have been more clear in my post. I was wondering what the cops had to do with communism.

Year(s) ago, I found examples on wikipedia.
As for the other, remember when after wwII the untied states were already identified as a police state run much like grmany ? It is so much more obvious today than it was from 1950 to 1988 or so.

The cops always say I was just following orders. The same thing the guards said in the German extermination camps.
They should be tried like a trader for doing being complicit in acts against humanity

If totalitarianism can be a word just describing a benevolent dictator, then it is perhaps the best possible available in the world.
