Are you sure that you are logged in first, @Tom Galty ? If you are just on the forum and not logged in, you can read everything but you can’t reply. Always check to make sure that your name and avatar show at the top of the page. Since you were able to post this thread, you are definitely able to post. Try to respond to this thread and see if you can do that. If you can’t post a reply here, then send a private message to me or Ken and we can try to figure out what is happening.
Just happened again. Was replying to a post clicked the post reply button and nothing happened. Am logged in and it does not happen ever time
I sometimes have that issue as well, @Tom Galty. I also have trouble logging in. I don't know what the issue is--on the forum or in my PC. I never use a phone or tablet to log in, although in the past I have used a laptop.
I have never had that issue, Tom. I'm always logged on with my laptop, with the rare exception of being in the doctor's waiting area and making the occasional post via my iPhone. I guess you have cleared the browser cookies for this site.
Like John was saying, maybe something is logging you out or you're running short of memory. I've had similar problems but never found the cause. Try rebooting and starting fresh or try another browser.
Every time I have had that problem, it is due to being knocked offline temporarily. Usually, a refresh will correct it and on occasion, it requires my wifi getting a boot in the butt.
