Your post was framed well but aside from the joke intended my understanding is the chewing, spitting etc which also happens in my home country is definitely bigger and better than Texas.
Now, without any doubt it looks like the largest state in the union hasn’t been given enough credit. Alaska has it’s own chewing and smoking tobacco but I doubt if there are many spitting contests since I imagine the spit would freeze in mid air during the winter months. Wind up as brown icicles running down one’s chin. Maybe have a “length of tobacco icicle” contest.
