He was suspended earlier this week and the network conducted an investigation. “Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense. We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately,” the network said in a statement on Saturday.
I didn't realize he was fired. I thought he was just "suspended", to be reinstated when the dust settled, because the New York attorney general has opened an investigation into his conduct re: his brother's legal issues. If he was fired, that would be unusual for CNN to fire someone just because he violated standards and possibly the the law.
I'm actually surprised that they fired him. I mean, that Toobin idiot is back after exposing himself on a zoom call with colleagues. If that's not a fireable offense then what the hell does it take?
I guess a president getting a BJ in the workplace from an underling and not really suffering any consequences kinda set the bar among the Left.
