Not a lot the Iraqis can do - they have enough on their plate
I wouldn't have thought it mattered what religion refugees were, help goes where its needed and there must be a
good reason if that help is delayed

Even though the Christian community in Iraq is touted to be the oldest sustained group in the world, according to a couple of sources it makes up only a bit more than 6% of the whole population of Iraq.
The outlook is such that Christians are merely tolerated and except for the area of Kurdistan, the laws regarding proselytizing and open worship are pretty strict. So strict in fact that a Muslim who crosses over and is found out could be and probably would be facing death.

Middle Eastern countries in general view life, death and what we westerners view as human rights quite differently so when it comes to a pimple on the posterior of a majority Muslim population there is little we can do to solve a Christian problem. It may seem wrong to us, but it is actually no wonder that those who espouse the Christian faith face some dire consequences such as ill kept, unhealthy and under supplied refugee camps. According to the Muslim faith, Christians shouldn't be allowed to live to begin with much less be treated with some human decency.

Although I have little use for the U.N. and NATO, it would seem that if it wasn't for those forces in action in the Middle East, a mass extinction process would have already been instituted for those Iraqi Christians.

If they are so bent in bringing in refugees from these war torn countries they could at least bring in ones who have the belief and values of the country they are going to.

No matter how much I do agree with you my friend, if we were to be as biased as the middle east is, the consequences would be far worse for the Christians. Even though the Muslim world barely tolerates Christianity, if we were to accept far more needy Christians than Muslims I can see the inevitable slaughter that would shortly begin. I think it would be a case of " we don't want them, but you can't have them either" attitude.
On the other side of that coin exists a major population of Christians in Kurdistan that "should be able" to accept far more refugees than they have.

It`ll probably get a whole lot worse when the time of the Great Tribulation finally rolls around. For Christians, i mean...

Uh..oh...Nobody seems to know the answer to that last question...THAT could mean that...A...they have all been either wiped out, OR, re-indoctrinated. OR...B...They have quietly left the country....never to return. Hopefully, it`s the latter...
