I think they have the coconut bars and maybe Bit-o-Honey at Cracker Barrel restaurants, Bill. I ordered some Bit-o-Honey from Amazon.
I had to move the Halloween candy to another part of the house. I don't particularly like most of it, so I can't justify the calories and the sugar. I will make that sacrifice for something I really like, such as Bit-O-Honey once in a while, but not for something I don't even like that much.
I haven't tried it, but this recipe uses candy corn to make Butterfingers. She said she buys the candy corn on sale after Halloween to make the candy bars.
Several months or a year or so ago, I developed a craving for candy corn, which seemed odd to me at the time because I didn't remember liking it all that much as a kid. Anyhow, I bought some from Amazon and received a bag that was bigger than the one I thought I had ordered. It took only a small amount of it for me to realize that I was right the first time and, if anything, I liked it even less now than I did when I was a kid. I threw it away.
I always Loved Clark bars, but after the chocolate melts away what's left sticks to my teeth, and you have to pry it off. Anyone else have that problem, or was it just me? lol
I liked Clark bars. Haven't had them since I was a kid. I remember Bit-O-Honey sticking to my teeth, but not Clark bars. Old Time Candy.com and Amazon has them. You can buy one at OTC.
