To a point, I disagree with you and our VP's statement was taken out-of-content. But, there are those, like where we live, that don't display the U.S. Flag on Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July or Veteran's Day. We display for all four. As far as "making you feel uncaring if you don't participate", wife and I really don't care anymore what others think (to a point).
