Panic has begun in the cities in the East as migrants become a problem and they share the problems of the border states.

Yeah, that's pretty funny, after the feds have been ferrying them to red states all over the country. New York City recently reaffirmed its status as a proud sanctuary city too. He doesn't mind if other parts of the country are crawling with them. It makes sense to send them to cities and states that have expressed a willingness to absorb them, such as self-defined sanctuary cities or states.

Apparently, now that the illegals are arriving in DC and they have to deal with them and the criminal activity they are bringing; and the mayor has complained vigorously (while we all laughed); now Biden is going to start work on building the wall again.
He must be worried they are going to start showing up in more blue states and the sanctuary cities where the city will be stuck with them forever, since they are protected.
Also, many of the Hispanics are starting to vote Republican, and will influence the newcomers; so he has that motivation happening now, too.

The D.C. mayor is calling on the National Guard to help control the onslaught of the new “immigrants” in her city.

As far as I’m concerned, instead of calling on the National Guard, they should set up the Capital Building as living and asylum quarters for the new arrivals. In that way, the Capital Police can monitor the coming and going of that particular population and the good mayor will not have half the worries.

Pelosi, Waters and Schumer will feel right at home ……….

It does my heart good to see that now the rest of the USA can get a taste of what Texas and the other border states have to deal with. But just a little taste... no idea of the scope of the problem and sheer numbers at the border. Anyone with a brain should realize the National Guard needs to be stationed AT THE BORDER, not in DC.

Strangely enough, NYC has the new distinction of being overwhelmed by Monkey Pox. As it stands, 3 out of 4 reported cases throughout the U.S. is in NYC itself.
The Governor of NY has called for a state of emergency and the Mayor of NYC has apparently doubled down on that initiative.

As far as immigration goes, we were at Walmart yesterday (Sunday) and I would gauge that over half of the shoppers were Latinos.
I have this funny feeling that our schools will soon have to feature mandatory Spanish classes for English speaking students.
Florida made Spanish classes mandatory many years ago because of the many arrivals from Cuba and Puerto Rico and I doubt that the influx of Spanish speaking people in Florida then was greater than that of Alabama is at the present time.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, said on Friday he has started to send buses carrying migrants to New York City in an effort to push responsibility for border crossers to Democratic mayors and U.S. President Joe Biden, a Democrat.

Abbott, who is running for a third term as governor in November elections, has sent more than 6,000 migrants to Washington since April in a broader effort to combat illegal immigration and call out Biden for his more welcoming policies. Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, another Republican, has followed Abbott's lead and bused another 1,000 to Washington.

"The migrants can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city," Abbott said in a statement. "I hope he follows through on his promise of welcoming all migrants with open arms so that our overrun and overwhelmed border towns can find relief."

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bi...ction-us-mexico-border-wall-near-yuma-arizona

"Not another foot." Those were the words Joe Biden used as a mantra throughout his 2020 presidential campaign regarding the construction of the U.S.-Mexico border wall. But on Thursday, the Biden administration approved a plan to complete a section of the border wall near Yuma, Arizona.

The plan includes filling four major gaps in the wall that continue to allow the Yuma area to be one of the busiest corridors for illegal immigration crossings. Biden’s decision to secure the border wall comes after Sen. Mark Kelly, D-AZ, has called on the president to secure the border. Republican lawmakers have made similar calls.

The Biden administration’s quiet approval of the wall’s construction also comes after Biden often used it as a means of contrasting his policies with those of the Trump administration. In the past, Biden was repeatedly critical of Trump, his border wall, and his immigration policies — which he referred to as "xenophobic" and "racist."

Shows that shipping illegals to the centers of Dem power has worked to some degree, thus illustrating the hypocrisy in their message.

Exactly my point. How's that "Not in My Back Yard" thing working for them now.

Still no action from our esteemed Border Czar, the Giggling Kamala.
