Nobody thinks this is funny? I'm sure everybody except the lady herself (and her family) thought it was hilarious! :D

I think it was a worthwhile post of interesting news Joanna. My good friend works in a funeral home and might enjoy it too.

I saw this story. No one is reporting on who declared her to be deceased and who took her to the funeral home.

It's the stuff of paranoid nightmares.

    Dunno.
I guess there are some who find some humor in the story but for whatever reason, it just doesn’t strike me as being funny. Maybe it’s because I have a tendency of putting myself into someone else’s position or maybe, like some have said, I take things too seriously but naw, I’m not real tickled by it.

Just as Edgar Allen Poe’s 1844 piece of literature (premature burial) was an admission of his fear of being buried alive, I seriously believe that we have all had some rather morbid personal thoughts on the subject.

Although with today’s technology and burial preparations it would be highly improbable that anyone would find themselves waking up in an incinerator or in a casket, it has definitely happened in the past.

I’m going to have to look but I think when retired funeral director Lon was with us, there was another thread posted concerning such things
