I am curious about what supplements our members take on a daily basis and why they take that particular supplement. More importantl----Does the supplement work?
I was going to start taking this for its anti-inflammatory properties. But I hear it is only OK for short-term use (up to 8 months.) It can thin blood, and is not recommended for use by those who are on blood thinners. There are a host of preexisting conditions that it "may cause" problems with. Before others point it out, the downsides are pointed out by The Medical Establishment. I have known one guy who took high doses of turmeric (from GNC) and claimed that it was the only thing that helped with his rheumatoid arthritis. He got off of his prescription meds and received 100% relief from turmeric alone. I do not know how long he had been on it.
