Myself and all the residents have a staff member take our temperature and pulse at least once and sometimes twice per day and register the readings in a log book. We all wear masks as soon as we walk out our front door. We have had 11 deaths here since COVID 19 but none related to the virus. One resident and one staff member tested positive and were quarantined. Both OK now. We still practice Safe Distancing at meals and social get togethers.
I check my own every now and then, as well as my blood pressure and pulse oximetry. I don't make a religion out of it but I do keep an ocassional record of blood pressure readings so that I don't have to argue with my doctor if it happens to be on the high side during an appointment.
Never unless I feel feverish to begin with. I take a BP and pulse reading every morning and check my sugar.
Lon, I would gather that any Assisted Living Home would do this. Aren't most-to-all people living there older than 70 and can have some kind of health problems. I mean, isn't that why it's called "Assisted Living"? We have a digital thermometer and protective sleeves for it. If we feel overly warm, we will check it, but only then.
