My ex wife is 77 and is living in New Zealand where she was born and raised. She receives American Social Security Benefits because she worked a number of years in the U.S. as a Registered Nurse. She also worked as a Registered Nurse for a number of years in NZ. She was working Triage in Christchurch when they had their last earth quake. She can't receive a pension from NZ because of a reciprocal agreement with the U.S. allowing only one pension.
