Do You Suffer Any Guilt For Past Deeds? How Do You Handle It?

Have you wronged any one in the past or done things that you are ashamed of and are now plagued by guilt.

 

Had to change the "never" to definite possibility.

Regret not getting a higher rate in the Navy and getting into a little too much trouble.

Regret meeting/marrying my ex-wife two times.

Regret not getting the education and waiting too long to get into Purchasing and Inventory Management.

Regret "looking for love in all the wrong places", before meeting my wife. LOL

Regret, before meeting my wife, thinking that overnight sex or one-night-stand (given to me) was love.

I don't believe anyone is without regret over something they did in the past, particularly if it hurt someone else. I do have some guilt but I don't let it consume me. Rather it's one of those 10 million things that I review in my head and wish I had done differently while having a sleepless night.

 

True you bro but I’m not picking on him but enquiring minds want to know, or so it is said. I mean, he opened the book so I want to see his page before we turn to mine. Is it not fair?

As for a frame of reference and to think about it, there might be a lot of regretting to be done with a couple bottles of wine Lon orders coupled with a few cougars that just have to be floating around the home. There might be a whole lot of assisting to that living.

All kidding aside, you are absolutely correct in that everyone, unless they have some mental problem, has regrets.
We repair what we can realizing that we can’t change anything we did because that time is gone and then move foreword with a learning experience under our belt and with a tad more caution.

On those, “sleepless” nights, even non-believers have followed my formula of memorizing the 23rd Psalm. Lay there and say it in your head and sleep will soon follow. If one time doesn’t do it then the 2nd time will.

I don't think I have ever wronged anyone as in hit, stolen from, lied about, etc. but I have said some unkind words that I sincerely wish I could take back.

I am sad to say that I see some unkindness in this thread.
