I mean your bathroom at home. I definitely do NOT. In the bathroom I'm taking care of business. If I get a call or a text it can wait until I'm done. I also don't take my phone into the kitchen. My hands are busy and I don't want to risk dropping my phone into the sink or into something I'm cooking.
I don't carry it in there, but if I happen to have it in my pocket at the time, it might go with me. I had an acting job last Fall where I was required to change clothes. This one time I was changing in a bathroom with my cell in my shorts pocket,,and of course it fell out and right into the toilet. As an aside,I killed a phone once by having it in my shorts pocket when I jumped in the lake. So, I fished the phone out immediatley from the toilet...Thank God" nothing" was in there. It seemed to be OK, except there was a hint of water under the crystal for a long time.
During the week, when my wife is at work and I know that she will be calling me (her break or lunch), I will take it in the bathroom with me. If I'm talking to her, and I have to use the bathroom, I will take the phone in with me and put it on "speaker phone". I try very hard not to miss a call from her! That's one of the things that keeps our marriage so, so nice.
I always take my IPhone into the bathroom. I read news, get stock quotes, text & reply to email as well as read new Kindle books and lots else. It's called killing two birds or more with one stone.
Not me, I dislike phones. I forget to take it with me most of the time when I go out. The only reason I have one is for emergencies. I make maybe one or two calls a week, and other than telemarketers, I recieved about the same.
I jumped in the lake once, nearly drowned, and regretted not having a phone on me to prepare my exit from this world.
I admit I used to take my phone into my restroom at home. That is until I was talking with my brother and he told me he could hear me urinating. I swear I didn't think my phone was sensitive enough to hear that! Needless to say, I don't do that any more.
At home if I'm gonna be in bathroom or kitchen I lay my phone on dining room table, I can hear ringtone.or text notification just fine and I'll get to it as soon as I can. If I'm in a restaurant or at someone's house I take purse into bathroom (comb, lipstick) but even if I get a call or text I never use the phone in a bathroom. In bathroom I take care of bathroom business.

Absolutely LOVE this reply! Actually, 25+ years ago, I dated a lady that had a small color tv in a bathroom. Now, THAT was a first for me! Wow, go to the pot and watch Lassie or Gunsmoke at the same time............love it!
