    That could be it since it happened in Vancouver and they are pretty left leaning there. Thanks Babs, I couldn't think of a reason why Vancouver would object to "Moby Dick".

    "Rick" we altered by the addition of a "P". Actually, "we" didn't, disgusting though it seems, a rather hilarious story lies behind it, if you will allow me:
    My wife's brother, helping me out in my Service Station, realizing things were going to the bad, rowdy, unappreciative customers. We had to wear Company shirts, with a sewed-on patch having our first names. Rick added a "P" with a black marker, and leaned forward at the drivers' windows to be sure they got the message. One woman, obviously failing to see the "funny" in it, cussed and drove away!
