This morning our blue-eyed Barbie was having a dream while I was still in bed. She was lying on the bedroom floor, on her side, making some short crying/yelping sounds while her paws were going through an abbreviated running motion. I have no doubt that animals do dream. I have viewed and heard what could only have been the results of dreams in my cats, who would be lying in bed asleep, when suddenly they would cry out, whimper, or hiss at something that wasn't there.
