Here's an example why some people want little dogs. Big dogs don't fit just everywhere. Gotta love them for trying. Personally, I much prefer big dogs to little ones, they are so much more expressive.

Boy these dogs are big aren't they. This reminds me of the time I saw someone standing outside of one of my neighbors homes with their dog. This dog was a greyhound and it was so big it was almost the size of a horse. I have seen some large dogs in my time I have even own a few but this one was the biggest dog I had ever seen in real life. I would hate to have a dog that size or for that matter the size of the dogs in the above photos charging after me. I think I would faint if one did.

I've had a Great Dane (the first picture) and she was literally about the size of small pony, not that heavy, but definitely that tall. She even moved like a horse, she had three different gaits - a walk, a trot and a gallop. She was so much fun, a real goof. Her name was Pinny, which was short for Pinhead, which fit her to a T. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but definitely the most fun.

We also had a Great Pryennes (the third picture) and she was the most laid back, easy going dog you've every seen. She could crunch a beef knuckle bone into shards in about 2 minutes, yet she found a nest of baby rabbits one time and carried one around for a week without harming it. She also would get into the hen house and bring us eggs - unbroken. She actually taught our son how to walk. When he was toddling, she would come up to him and stand beside him. He would grab a fist full of hair and then they would slowly walk around the room. When she got tired, she would walk him, gently, into a wall, so he'd let go and fall down!! She was also real good at letting us know when he needed a diaper change, she would go over to him and start sniffing.

    I just love large dogs.

I absolutely love this video. I've seen it before, and every time I see it, I have to laugh. This dog has the most expressive face. You can't help but feel sorry for him. After all the talk about the good food, the owner tells him he fed it to the cat. You can just imagine what's going through the poor dogs head, as he seems to cry!!

The video of the dog cooking is really cute. I prefer a minimum size dog if I were to have a dog. The small ones make to much noise and the large ones are way to big.
