Donation For Typhoon Yolanda Victims

    You may be wondering what this is all about. Typhoon Yolanda is the strong typhoon that hit the middle provinces of our country in 2013.

    Germany had donated lumber for rebuilding homes that were destroyed. And what do you know? The lumber are still in the port. The shipment cannot be released due to unpaid taxes. Can you imagine a heartless government that insisted on taxing such a donation? That's crazy.

    This is why I never trust donations. If people got what was intended for them..all of it, we wouldn't have that many hungry or homeless people.

    I have a hard time understanding why with all the money in this world there are children going to bed hungry.

    Homeless...maybe; but hungry...shouldn't be.
